Kuma (球磨村 Kuma-mura?) is a village located in Kuma District, Kumamoto, Japan.

As of April 1, 2008 the village had an estimated population of 4,491 and a population density of 21.6 persons per km². The total area is 207.73 km².

Located in the southern portion of Kumamoto Prefecture, the Kuma River flows through the center. 90% of the village is covered by forests.

One of Japan's largest limestone caves, Kyūsen-dō, is located in Kuma.
